This week we are taking a break from my weekly theme of writing about different states’ haunted locations or urban legends to talk about the festival I went to last weekend. Why didn’t I write about it last week? Well, because life happened. After spending the weekend staying up late every night with investigations and watching scary movies, I needed a day or two to recover some of my spoons. While taking those recovery days, we finally got word that Jeremy can check out of his current command at the end of the month! Which means we will FINALLY be moving to San Diego as of November 1st! It’s finally happening!!! Between the plans we have this weekend celebrating Kelsey’s birthday and our friend, Mike, coming into town; and my trip to Salem, Mass. next week with my sister-in-law, Reba, I have very little time to prepare for this move. So I took the rest of the week to start preparing what I can for this move and to figure out how we are going to do this. Now that most of all that is taken care of, I can focus on writing again! Woohoo!
With all that being said, I can’t wait to tell you about the festival and everything that happened. I am really appreciative of Larry and Eric for putting the event on and appreciative of Rebecca for allowing me to stay at the Cambre house. This will be a part post because of everything that happened and everyone I met.
Next week, I will be going back to the state weekly theme that I have been doing for the past few weeks. In the meantime, if you have suggestions for places for Jeremy and I to check out while driving to San Diego, please let me know either in the comments below or through my contact page. It can be haunted locations, places to eat, interesting hotels, or weird travel spots. We are making this a fun road trip and plan to take about a week to drive it. Also, let me know if you want to check out the places with us. I love meeting y’all and appreciate y’all reading and interacting with my blog, youtube, and social media.
