Are These Locations Truly Haunted?

Getting back to our topic for today’s post topic. Today’s post is actually about two places in Nebraska. I decided to group them together because the type of activity that is supposedly experienced at both locations is very similar. Actually its also very similar to the activity experienced at Crazy Annie’s Bridge. The two locations I am talking about today are Seven Sisters Road and Devil’s Canyon. The thing about these locations is I wonder if these locations are truly haunted or are they just local urban legends?  Continue reading Are These Locations Truly Haunted?

This Urban Legend Is Pretty Crazy

Before we get into today’s post, did you catch the first episode of Paranormal Housewife Podcast? It dropped yesterday and talks about the ghosts that roam the Tower of London. If you haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet, you can check it out here or any where you listen to your podcasts. If you have had a chance to listen to it, please let me know what you thought of it. For today’s post, we are still in Minnesota and talking an interesting urban legend out of Henderson called Crazy Annie’s Bridge.  Continue reading This Urban Legend Is Pretty Crazy

Where The Devils Roams

Before we jump into this post I would just like to announce that this is my 200th post on here!!! I will probably be celebrating with goldfish crackers with my dog, John Paul Jones because that is our snack of choice when I sit down to write since I have a lot more writing and researching ahead of me today. It’s been a bit since we have talked about cryptids on this blog. Thankfully New Hampshire has two for us to check out today. I hadn’t heard about either of these until I was trying to find topics to write about for this week’s theme. If you have heard of either of these cryptids, let me know.  Continue reading Where The Devils Roams

This House Is Scarier Than Most Horror Movies

Hawaii has many paranormal topics that would take us weeks to get through everything but when I heard about this one house, I couldn’t not talk about it. Honestly the first time I heard about it, I didn’t think it was real. I really thought the TikTok videos I saw of it were made up until I actually started doing research on the subject. At the time it was just fun research but when Hawaii came up as a weekly theme, I knew this topic had to be discussed. Not only was the Kaimuki House the most haunted house in Hawaii but the hauntings were documented in the newspaper and by the police on more than one occasion.  Continue reading This House Is Scarier Than Most Horror Movies

Not Always A Sweet Ending

I’ll be honest. When I was planning out this week’s posts, this topic was not one of the topics I had originally researched and planned out but when I read about this urban legend in Texas, I had to look into it. It was something I had never heard of before and the fact that it is rooted in truth made me really interested in the topic. So, sit back, grab something sweet to nibble on, and let’s dive into the story of the The Candy Lady of Terrell, Texas.  Continue reading Not Always A Sweet Ending

How Many Ghosts Haunt Here?

The subject of today’s post was one that was sent to me via Instagram. Thank you, James H. for recommending this topic. He said this was a location that he visited as a child and remembered hearing other kids playing on the second floor, but he and his sister were the only kids visiting the house at the time. I had not heard of this house before he recommended it and it was fun to research to it. If you have a place, cryptid, or urban legend you want me to talk about on here, please let me know. I am always looking for new topics to research and learn about. You can either let me know in the comments below, message me on one of my social media pages, or email me.  Continue reading How Many Ghosts Haunt Here?

What Lurks Beneath The Surface?

One of the things that draws me so much to Oregon is the natural beauty that can be found through out the state. There are so many places to go hiking, canoeing, and camping. One of the places that I have been wanting to go check out is an ominously named lake called Devil’s Lake. While it’s stunningly beautiful is all the beauty actually hiding a monster?  Continue reading What Lurks Beneath The Surface?

The Happy Die Young

Sometimes when everything seems to be going well, life has a way changing dramatically in a moments notice. In today’s post, I talk about two people who were out celebrating when their lives were tragically cut short. Was it the happiness that they felt just before they died that has kept their spirit tied to where they died or is the suddenness of their death that has left them tethered to the spot? Continue reading The Happy Die Young

Where Did Everyone Go?

Shortly after Jeremy and I moved to Illinois, I had joined a few Meetup.com groups to make some new friends. One group I joined was a group of older adults that would meet weekly for trivia nights. I LOVE trivia games. I know a lot of useless and random facts which are useful for trivia games. The first time I met up with this group, they were doing a trivia game at a local pizzeria. The members of the group were amazing with the answers throughout the entire game until the final question. Continue reading Where Did Everyone Go?
