Today is Jeremy’s birthday. He is turning 24. While his birthday cake is baking I figured I could post the photos from our outings yesterday.
We spent the day with Michael, Jessica, and Harley. Yesterday was Harley’s dance recital. She was incredibly cute dancing.
We are going to miss her and her energy.
After her recital we had to get Gizmo and Sansa ready to go to their new home. A few weeks ago, after realizing some new facts about our travels, Jeremy and I decided to rehome Sansa and Gizmo. If we are able to fly together, the cats would have to stay in their little carriers for at least 4 days and possible as many as 6 days without a real break. That wouldn’t be fair to either of them. Most of all Gizmo who wouldn’t be able to handle it. It was a hard decision but we needed to think about his needs before our wants and splitting them up wasn’t an option. We found them a great home where they would be together, make new kitty friends and be trained to be PTSD comfort kitties. The woman who adopted them will send us updates on how they are adjusting. We couldn’t ask for a better home for them.
After the cats left we went out with Jessica, Michael and Harley to play puttputt. We went to this really nice one where they take you by train up to the top of this small mountain and then you play your way down. It was really beautiful and a lot of fun. Harley ended beating us all.
After Harley beat all of us we went down to the waterway and watched the sunset. It was gorgeous. We’ve never done this before and we really need to watch sunsets more often. They are amazing.
Tonight we are going to have a quiet night in so that he can watch a pay per view wrestling thing and play magic with Michael. A quiet evening with our friends in the middle of all this chaos is needed.
