Before this weekend happened, I had so many expectations for how it would be. In usual Kelly luck, it didn't work out the way I planned but it was still a lot of fun and productive. Friday was surprising a late night for us. Jeremy didn't even get home until about midnight. The hours that recruiters work are ridiculous.
Welcome to the new year! Hopefully, you all had a great New Year's Eve with lots of celebrating with friends and loved ones. Jeremy and I stayed home and had a quiet evening in with the cats. We are homebodies and were in desperate need of a recharge. I don't know about y'all but Jeremy and I have a few traditions that we do every year to make sure we start the new year off on the right foot. Some of these you may have heard of but some of them you may not have.
This past week and this week will be full of changes. Last week Jeremy and I started reorganizing things in our apartment. We threw out a lot of things in our storage unit mainly because we haven't seen it in a year and half. Now we moving onto to the various closets in the apartment (there are way too many in here).
Today in Japan is a national holiday called Sea Day. On Sea Day everyone is suppose to take time to reflect on what all the ocean has provided us and give thanks for it.
