I have sat down so many times to start this post, and I either have too many thoughts in my head to write coherently, or something pulls me away from my computer. I feel like I am being pulled in so many directions at once, just trying to get everything done. I'm trying to get things done, but lately, it seems like no matter what I get done, my to-do list is getting longer and longer.
Octobers usually are my busy season because that is typically when everyone seems to be more focused on the paranormal, thanks to Halloween, but I was not expecting to be this busy, and it wasn't even the paranormal that made things crazy. It was just life in general. I didn't even realize that Halloween is in eight days (well, five days when this post goes live) until I saw something about Halloween on Facebook. This is honestly the first chance all month I have been able to sit down to my laptop to write. It feels so good to be back at my desk.
Just over two years ago, I posted my husband's notes about when he visited the Whaley House while he was at recruiting school in San Diego. Since then, I have received several messages asking that I do a new post talking about the house's history and the hauntings that are supposed to happen there. Today's post is as y'all requested!
While Jeremy was in recruiting school, he let it be known that he was a paranormal investigator. Of course, that immediately lead everyone to start asking questions and telling him places to investigate. Surprisingly, most people started telling him about how the school house itself was haunted. Jeremy had to wait until he had duty to try to hold an investigation.
