This weeks theme is the great state of Massachusetts! Over the years I have been Massachusetts many times. My Uncle Rick and his family lived down the street from Dr. Seuss’ house. I’m actually working on going back to Massachusetts next month around Halloween with my sister-in-law, Reba! I will let y’all know if we are able to get that worked out.
I’m bringing back weekly themes! In honor of how much Jeremy and I have been and will be driving across this beautiful country, I decided to start focusing on each of the states to learn more about their paranormal histories. The states’ order will be randomized. The first up this week is New Jersey!
This week the posts will cover various haunted battled fields, military bases, and military hospitals. Some of these posts are locations that are familiar to myself, friends, or family. Learn about the ghosts that still fight battles that ended years ago, the families that haunt the homes where they use to be stationed at, and military folks who never left their post.
In the final week of our travel themed posts for June we will be checking out some of the creepy forests around the world. Forests that have been the basis of many nightmares, fairytales, and urban legends. Learn about the deaths and missing people cases that add to the level of creepiness that these forests exude. These forests aren’t just the home for numerous spirits. Many cryptoid and fairytale characters may call this home as well. Explore lands that defy even scientific explanation. This week will be full of horror and intrigue.
Our month of traveling themed posts continue. This week is all about haunted hotels around the world. Each hotel has a different story and history that adds to the spooky things you might see, hear, smell, or feel while checked in. The spirits I will write about this week range from playful children to sexy, lonely women still looking for a date to murderous souls who may still be killing people.
This week's paranormal posts are all about various haunted roads around the world. Learn about roads that seemed cursed, hitchhiking spirits that just want to go home, and dark entities that try scare away visitors. Some of these hauntings have even made local papers with how frequent people have experienced something paranormal.
This week we are taking a fun and spooky road trip around the United States. Most of the places are areas I have visited before but I want to go back now that I know the history behind the areas. If you were to take a haunted road trip, where would you want to go? Ever had a paranormal experience while on a road trip? Let me know in the comments below. I want to hear all about it!
